01Who is responsible
The controller for your data is Finch Email. Our postal address is in the imprint. For privacy questions, write to privacy@finchemail.com.
02What data we process
When you visit this website, our server briefly records technical data such as your IP address and the time of the request. When you send a request, we receive what you enter in the form. For clients with a mailbox, we process account details and the mail, contacts and calendars stored in it.
03Why we process it
We use request details to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We provide mailboxes under our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep short technical logs to protect the website from abuse, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
04Your mail
We do not read, analyse or sell your mail. A person only looks at a mailbox when you ask us to help with a problem.
05Where your data is processed
Your data is processed within the European Union. We do not transfer it to countries outside the EU.
06How long we keep it
Technical logs are deleted after a short period. Requests that do not lead to working together are deleted within six months. Mailboxes are kept until you or we end the service, and then deleted.
07Who receives it
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Service providers who help us run the service process data only on our behalf, under a data processing agreement.
08Website statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), to count page views and measure how fast our pages load. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and builds no profile of you. For each page view it receives the page address, the referring page, browser and device type, your country (derived from your IP address, which is not stored) and load timings. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it fast (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. 09Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The theme you choose (light or dark) is remembered in your browser only.
10Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict its processing, or to object to it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Clients are told by email before changes that affect them.
